Today we're going to be making my uncle Matt's famous seasoned popcorn.

[ Jaunty tune plays ] Here are the ingredients you need.

♪♪ [ Whispering ] This recipe is super top secret, so, you're very lucky I'm sharing this with you.

I love this because, every time I go to their house, he always makes this wonderful popcorn and we just sit down and watch a movie.

It's just heaven.

[ Laughs ] Today we're going to be making this popcorn old-school.

We're not using the microwave.

Nuh-uh.

And you're definitely going to need an adult in the kitchen.

First, we're going to layer the bottom of the pan with olive oil, which I've already done.

Then we're going to pour popcorn in the pan, to where you can't see the bottom.

[ Rattling ] [ Laughs ] We're going to turn the heat in between 6 and 7.

♪♪ And then we're going to cover the pan.

Now, we're going to wait for the popcorn to pop.

You'll know what it's done when all the kernels are popped.

But be careful because it might get burnt, so, make sure to watch the popcorn.

[ Ethereal tune plays ] ♪♪ While the popcorn's popping, now, I'm going to talk to you about the seasoning.

We're going to put all the seasoning ingredients in a shaker and shake it.

Shake.

[ Upbeat funk plays ] ♪♪ ♪♪ We had a bit of a popping emergency.

I think I put a little bit too much popcorn in that.

It's starting to like tower up now.

[ Chuckles ] Okay, before we put our seasoning on, we're going to test it, to see if it's just right.

Perfect.

Now, I'm about to sprinkle the seasoning on.

Don't use all of it.
